So Ausiello is reporting that NBC exec's don't want to let go of FNL just yet.  At least everyone but Silverman loves the show.  It's not much, but at this point, I'll grab at any straw.  Honestly, I wasn't old enough to see My So Called Life and Freaks and Geeks end too soon.  I'm old enough for this. 

I really don't want this show to go.  That being said, tonight better be amazing. 

So last minute Mike asked me to go to There Will Be Blood.  I was tempted but stayed in.  Movie with Mike equals dinner, movie, popcorn, Starbuck's.  I held my ground.  Plus he's got 30 pages to write in two weeks, he should not be going out.  Oh well, my gay loves me, what can I say. 

I watched me some FNL.  Most of the plots felt repetitive and dragged out. Wait, every plot did. 

• Jason Street and Herc!  Fight!  Buddy has an offer he can't refuse.  I love me some Buddy. 
  
• METH MAN.  Oh shit, that must of hurt.  Poor Timmy, Tyra's not there to save his ass this time.  Here's hoping Billy's next, he could use a beating.  Here's hoping this plot doesn't result in FNL's second murder of the year.  God damnit, I can't believe I just typed that.  Second murder.  Stupid show. 
  
• Smash arrested.  FNL writers continuing another plot I don't care for.  Really don't care for.  Really, this show used to be subtle.
  
• Argh, commercials.  This is why I don't watch FNL live. 
  
• The commercials are still on.  Snore.
• Baby Grace!  Bug eyes.  Uh oh, Tammy's so coaching volleyball.  Bring.  It. On. 
  
• Jason.  3 scenes in one episode.  What show is this?
• Not even Mama Smash can keep me awake through this plot.
• Jean was supposed to have pink hair.  Oh look, there's Tyra, talking to him when she needs something.  What a shock.  Tyra's still a pushy bitch.  She's just mean when not talking to Landry. Wait, she's mean when she's talking to Landry.  Why do I like her?  They better make her less of a harpy with this jealousy crap, right now I'm rooting for white hair.  Although I'm amused at how pissed she is, even using tutoring as his motive for getting girls.  Lol. 
  
• The preacher's got some mullet going on.  No Logan, I do not feel the lord in my heart.  Seriously Tim?  You've got bigger worries then telling Lyla Garrity you love her.  You have like 24hrs to live. 
  
• Commercials.  Again.
• Tammy!  Volleyball.  Oh love. Tim helping!!!!
• Wow, she's got some bad hair.  Stole Jason's deal.  Bitch.
• Tyra at the Taylor's!!!!  Grilling Julie about the girl!!!!  I love how Tyra just reached above the fridge.  I was laughing before I saw the look on Tammy's face.  I'm gonna love this plot.
• Tim's nervous.  Oh my.  He's too hot for words.  He made her dinner.  Dies.  Candles.  Dies.  I'd jump him after that speech.  Even though this plot is repetitive and makes no sense. 
  
• Commercials.  Donna Moss on House!  SO FUCKING IN.  Mira Sorvino.  Also in.  Jennifer Garner doesn't look like a man in the Neutrogena commercials.  They covered the shoulders.  They had to.  Urban Planet just sent me an email saying Spring lines are in.  GOD DAMNIT, I CAN'T BE BROKE NOW.
  
• Wait, I think Smash had a plot in this episode?
• Tyra's pissed.  Poor Tim, this is gonna hurt.  Seriously, what point does this plot have? 
  
• I love Buddy.  So much.  Looky lu.
• Applebee's.  Landry's a jackass.  Nerd rock talk.  Uh oh, they're cute. Slamming water.  Girl's got anger issues.  And the maturity of a 10 year old.  I can only have hope for Tyra for so long. 
  
• Seriously, he's Logan to me.  That smirk, all Logan. 
  
• So they remembered Smash.  35 minutes in. Great job writing.   Over protective brother Smash is the best Smash.
  
• Lyla came clean to Logan about Timmy.  Of course he's supportive.  Once again, another plot I don't really care about.
  
• Commercials. 
• I want Jason Street to sell me a truck.  The look of proud on Buddy's face.  great.
• Seriously, Landry needs to stop taking his girls to Applebee's.  It's kinda mean.  She made him a mix.  I got a mix in grade 8.  I love Tim and Matt.  Love them.
• Oh Smash, you screwed.
• Herc and Jason, the perfect couple.  Guy love at its finest.
  
• Lyla saved him.  No way Chris makes her happier than Riggins. 
  
• Commercials.  They're so long.  SO.  LONG.
• Wait, why is there more volleyball than football?  Why?
• I love all the cutaway's in this game.  No one can actually play volleyball.  This is better than Sarah fighting on Chuck.  They won, I guess I should care.  Oh, Julie looks pissy.  Joy, another repetitive plot I'm gonna hate. 
  
• Why they gotta bring guns into this show?  Billy, don't turn this into another murder. 
  
• Oh Smash, you screwed. 

So I'm saying screw it and listing the things I damn well hope to achieve in 08.
 

• No more OSAP.  (Canadian student loan.)  I think there's a good chance my dad is going to pay it off and then I'll pay him directly, interest free.  That would be amazing. 8% sucks ass.  Just saying.
  
• Gym.  4 times a week.  I really need to go to the gym tonight but I'm already making excuses.  I'm tired.  I'm lazy.  I'm ready for a nap.  Argh.
• Move.  LA.  I said it casually before but now I know it's the real dream, not just a pipe dream.  This depends on 3 big factors, a) the strike, b)my ability to acquire a VISA, c) my ability to save up enough money to move, buy a car.
• Get published.  I need to send out query letters for my movie theater piece that I wrote for class.  Also, I ended up getting an A in that class.  Kind of a miracle.  I know that with work, I'd make a great writer.  But I'm damn lazy at times, and that's the one thing you need not to be.  So I'm gonna work on being less lazy with it.
• I want a dog damnit.  To take hiking with me when I move.  I saw my dog in Anaheim.  He had such sad eyes.  Stupid mall pet shops and their puppy mill dogs. Idiots. 

Here's hoping the AMPTP get their heads out of their asses and meets WGA demands.  This could be debilitating for the industry if it goes too long.  It  can't afford a 10% decline in viewership like 88.  But it needs to happen, the WGA deserves this.  

WHAT IS WRONG WITH IDIOTS WHO WATCH TV?  WHAT?

Women's Murder Club got a 7.3/13 and what did FNL get?  A 3.6/6, with Deal or No Deal's numbers up.  Yeah, it lost nearly a million viewers from last week.  WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?  It went from 2/4 in the hour to 4/4.  Behind ABC's shit, and behind Moonlight.  People are trying to blame baseball, but at this point, is it even worth it?

This show is on the verge of cancellation and no one cares.  I just, I don't get it.  Everyone I show it to, falls in love.  They stay home to watch it.  There is no doubt in my mind that it won't see a 3rd season, and honestly, if that happens I will reevaluate what I watch and frankly just be too pissed to look at a TV for a long time.

If NBC cancels FNL I don't know what I'll think. Apparently the demos weren't that bad of a drop...but this isn't looking good for week 2.  I feel like one of those crazies on TWoP who doesn't understand how tv is about making money.  I understand that, I work in TV.  It's just not fair.

Ok, I must go because I have a 40 pound moppet in my arms saying he wants to watch Barney.

Please guys, give me some hope here, are any of you still watching?  Even with the Big Mistake(which is getting better) this is still the best show on TV.

I'm on the verge of another freak out.  I feel like a massive one is coming.  I was ok with quitting my job, and in a sense, I'm still ok.  But I'm someone who's always wanted a sense of security, not just in the familial sense but also in the monetary way.  Growing up relatively low on the middle class scale tends to put a sense of fear in someone.  So I'm starting to freak out.  Not really about money, more about not having a clue what makes me happy or how I'm going to get my next job.  I really hate being an 'adult.' 

The one thing I've learned about freakouts is that after I have one, followed by a good cry, things are usually better.  I just hate the feeling that I know one is coming on, and I can't stop it.

Once again, amazing episode with one bad plot.

I thought about it a lot today and I decided that I would quit....as soon as I find a better job. There's no better excuse to leave one job than saying you've found a better one. One that offers full medical and dental, paid sick and vacation days. I'm already in love with one open at Alliance Atlantis. I want it. BAD.

I desperately need to get my hands on a copy of Corel Painter for MAC ASAP. Does anyone have it? I've got CS3, Final Cut, DVD Studio Pro to trade if you do. Plus, I'd love you forever and always, Robert Munch styles.

So here's the deal folks, on Wed Friday Night Lights ends its first season.  I won't see the episode until Friday but I'm sure it'll be made of awesome. 

BUT:  As we know the fate of the show is still up in the air.  Here's where I'm laying down the law:

If I hear any of you talking negative smack of FNL's chances of renewal I will DE-FRIEND you  I'm not kidding  you.  FNL is getting renewed.  There is no other option.  If you even have a little bit of doubt about this statement I will DE-FRIEND you.  Once again, I am not kidding.

I'm really worried that my hatred of October Road has turned int a secret liking of October Road.  3rd week in a row I've tuned in even though it's damn awful.

I'm so shopping for a new top tomorrow.  One of our hot actors is coming to our screening on Saturday.  Shopping is a must. 

So in less than 24hrs practicum will be done.  DONE.  I intend to never speak to the following people again: John Pollock, and Laura Dittmann.

Addison's Anatomy.  I just..can't.  I can't come up with words for how much I don't support this idea.  And I think you guys on the flist here can vouch for the fact that I am one step away from loving Addison too much.  If Addison leaves Grey's is going to be a shit zone of suckage because the past two week have blown.  So have a ton of other episodes this season.  I just, even imagining the hotness of Taye Diggs and Kate Walsh together isn't going to get my out of this stupid ABC induced funk.
